Al-Nassr boss Luis Castro has been in the news following the encounter between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. With his side taking a brutal 3-0 defeat, Castro hit out at officials claiming the goal against his side should have not counted. It seems like his anger has not died down, as the Al-Nassr boss refused to attend the meeting organized by the Saudi Football Federation.

Castro was reportedly very frustrated with how things went down during the game against Al-Hilal. The manager during his press conference even went as far as claiming the referee was the only reason Al-Hilal got the win over his side. Despite all the drama, the final result saw Al-Hilal bag a 3-0 win over their arch-rivals thanks to a brace from Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Luis Castro snubs the Saudi Football Federation

Al-Nassr boss Luis Castro has taken some major steps following his side’s defeat to Al-Hilal in their last fixture. While the manager slammed the match officials during his press conference, he is now taking out his frustrations on league authorities. According to reports, Luis Castro was not present in a meeting held by the Saudi Football Federation to discuss technical issues. The Saudi Federation posted an image of all representatives following the meeting, with Luis Castro missing from the picture.

This is the second time following the game that Castro has expressed his frustrations following the game. The Al Nassr manager before his decision to snub the Saudi Federation officials had slammed the referees for their poor officiating.

Al Nassr boss slams referees following defeat to Al-Hilal

Al Nassr boss Luis Castro went all in on the match officials during his post-match press conference. The manager was very frustrated with the officials believing they cost his side the game.

Castro, in his press conference, stated, “The referee is the one who made Al Hilal win today. There were two penalty kicks that were not awarded to us, and Al Hilal’s second goal should have been disallowed.”

Despite all that unfolded during the game, it was Al-Hilal who emerged as the winner at the end of the final whistle. Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was on fire in the game as he bagged 2 goals. Following his dominant outing, the striker has now scored thirteen goals in the Saudi Pro League and is just two goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who is leading the race for the Golden Boot.
