Shockingly collapses on the training ground

Just two days after opening her account at the World Cup, a bone-chilling incident unfolded involving Caicedo. During Thursday’s training session, while training with her teammates before the emphatic clash against Germany, the forward collapsed on the field out of nowhere. She gradually came to a halt, placing a hand on her chest before lying down on the pitch. Her teammates and medical staff swiftly approached to offer assistance.

Soon the player was conscious and normally resumed her training. When asked about the reason for her collapse, coach Nelson Abadia insisted that the alarming episode was partly attributed to the pressure of participating in her inaugural Women’s World Cup. Abadia further added that she was “stressed” regarding her tournament and that it was rather just an “incident.” Nevertheless, it’s good to see her fit and healthy as she continues to become a rising star in the World Cup.
