Grammy just announced that its museum will be showcasing the Colombian singer’s ‘musical evolution’.

The Colombian star is one of a kind. The Grammy Museum will showcase Shakira’s evolution from a local singer back in Colombia to become the best on the global stage. Over the years, Shakira has dipped her feet into multiple genres of music like Bhangra, bachata, rock, and many more.

The Colombian star’s guitar, which is covered in about 70,000 black crystals, will be one of the many things on display. A few of Shakira’s personal belongings like her notebook that she wrote her lyrics in, will also be on display. Higher authorities from the Grammy museum mentioned that they’d be honored to display her evolution.

In an official statement, Shakira said, “It’s an honor to have the journey of my career displayed at the GRAMMY Museum”. She continued, “These pieces are a testament to so many indelible moments that I cherish. I’m so happy to be able to relive these memories with those who have and continue to support me as an artist”.
