Since Wrexham took all the plaudits with their promotion, leaving one club behind in the conversation. Notts County dominated the league but lost to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s club in the final stages. But now, the club secured promotion to the National League and celebrated a sensational achievement. Moreover, Reynolds had earlier stated how he wanted Notts County in the National League. He also tweeted his acknowledgments on Twitter, and fans loved the response. 

The club went through on penalties after coming back twice in the game to win the soccer match. The game ended 1-1 in regular time, and they scored a late goal in extra time to make it 2-2. Notts County goalkeeper Archie Mair produced two brilliant saves to get the team over the line. Thus, Reynolds tweeted in favor of the team, as well as their late chief executive, Jason Turner, who died suddenly. All in all, an excellent day for the supporters.

The sensational Hollywood actor tweeted, “Congratulations @Official_NCFC !!!! What a game, what a season, what heart. We will see you in the EFL next.” Later, he also tweeted about the influence of Jason Turner in the club’s promotion. He added, “And huge love to the family, friends, and loved ones of Jason Turner.” It is so heartwarming to see the interaction between the Wrexham club owner and his rival club.

Ryan always stated how he wanted Notts County to receive a promotion along with his club. They challenged Wrexham until the end but failed to win the title at the last moment. But the club will now meet against each other to resume their battles.

But for Jason Turner, he had his dream fulfilled and would be smiling from above. The club’s chief executive took over the reins at the club back in March 2016. Ryan had earlier given his tribute to the club executive in a heartwarming post. Therefore, he still carries himself high amongst the players and supporters, as was evident during the post-match celebrations.

After the game, the players honored the club executive in front of their raucous supporters. Captain Kyle Cameron displayed a photo of the club executive during the celebrations. It became a marked moment as fans loved the celebrations. It was a wonderful gesture to a person who did everything for the club. 

And now, both clubs can look forward to locking their horns in the bigger leagues. The teams have much work to be done, and bolstering the squad would be crucial. Hopefully, they can stay in the competition and create history there.
