Gerard Pique has been a constant topic of public chatter for over a month. Shakira and her diss track with Bizarrap along with her continuous taunts on social media haven’t helped him either. The Spanish soccer legend launched his new soccer venture shortly after retiring from soccer.

The Kings League is a unique soccer tournament with quite a few quirky and funny rules to it. While this tournament seemed like the only pleasant thing left in the soccer legend’s life, things have gone south here too.

Recent reports suggest that the former Barcelona star’s actions took everyone by surprise in the league.

Gerard Pique could leave the Kings League!

The Kings League was one of the most exciting ‘new-age’ soccer competitions in town. While it received a lot of hate and evil eyes, it initially managed to garner a tiny loyal fanbase. However, recent reports suggest that the soccer legend has had a massive fight with another president of a team in the league. The soccer team of concern here is Juan Guarnizo’s Aniquiladores FC.

Fran Hernandez, an Aniquiladores FC player, naively breached one of the rules of the unique soccer league. The soccer star had reportedly failed to place the ball on the ground during each kick on goal. Pique, who was at the game, spotted this immediately and reported it to the officials.

Being the President of the league, the officials were obliged to listen to Pique. The officials then shockingly pulled back play and ordered those two minutes to be replayed. However, this decision severely affected the result and the Aniquiladores FC ended up losing the game.

This was clearly wrong because the rules of the league state that, “the decisions of the referees on facts in the game are final”. This entire saga led to a heated discussion in the league’s WhatsApp group with all the team owners and Presidents. The details of the heated debate are still unknown, but the result of it is crystal clear. The former Barcelona defender has shockingly left the official WhatsApp group of his own league. He also conveyed to his fans that he will not be at the ‘After Kings’ tomorrow after not ‘feeling like it’.

It seems like the former Barcelona star is just going through a bad phase. Nothing has been going in Gerard Pique’s favor since the time his ex-girlfriend released her diss track.

Shakira and her diss track have impacted Pique’s life!

The fans still cannot believe why Gerard Pique would take such a drastic step. Pique’s best friend, Ibai Llanos also warned the viewers that the situation is quite heated for the first time via his live stream. But the fans are still scratching their heads with the question of why the soccer legend would decide to abandon his own soccer league in the first place. Times have been tough for Gerard Pique recently.

The Spaniard took this drastic just a few weeks after announcing that the finals of the league would happen at the ever-famous Camp Nou. Apart from soccer, his personal struggles with and without Shakira are evidently still on. The Spanish defender is struggling to get on in life with Clara Chia Marti after the breakup. Shakira and her constant ability to throw shade at him are currently pegging the soccer legend back. He continues to face different types of public humiliation, most recently he had to leave an NBA game forcefully.
