In a recent interview with ‘talkSPORT,’ Luke Littler said his dream run at the World Darts Championship has made him a celebrity of sorts. “It’s been crazy. My Twitter/X followers have gone up, views have gone up. My Instagram has gone shot out the window. Even I got a message off David Beckham, Romeo, Luke Shaw,” said Luke Littler. The hosts asked what the Inter Miami owner told him. “I think he said, ‘Well done, once a red, always a red.’ And Romeo is there tonight. He said ‘good luck,'” the 16-year-old added.

Though David Beckham’s message left the teenager amused, the former’s gesture is no surprise. DB has historically recognized the game of sporting icons outside soccer. His appreciation of NBA players and cricket players, among others, is known to the world. Besides, as Littler is a Red Devil’s faithful, it is paramount for the freekick specialist to give back love and appreciation.
