The season is done and dusted, and Wrexham looks to bolster their squad with fresh additions. After singing Ben Foster in a stunning deal, he made a difference for the club to gain a promotion. And now, the EFL League Two is the stage for Wrexham to shine. But for that, the squad needs additions, and free agents still exist in the market. Signing free agents can help the club to sign players without transfer fees. One player who can make a critical difference is Gareth Bale. The Welsh international retired from soccer to focus on his swing by playing golf.

Hence, Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds is not going out without a fight. He looks to convince Bale to join the club for one year and play for the Welsh soccer club. The art of convincing is a complicated skill to master. But Ryan offered to shave Rob’s back to provide a golf course for the Welsh superstar. Would you want to play there, Bale?

After the promotion, Rob mentioned on Twitter, “Hey @GarethBale11 let’s play golf, where I totally won’t spend 4 hours trying to convince you to un-retire for one last magical season.” To this, Bale replied, “Depends what course.” After thinking about a plausible way, Reynolds replied hilariously.

He mentioned on Twitter, “I will shave a professional-grade golf course into Rob’s back if you’ll give Wrexham a season,” after which he gave an update, “Update: after an online image search, it appears Rob does not have the requisite body hair to support this plan.”

Getting Bale would be fantastic for the soccer club. Taking into account the influence Ben Foster had when he saved a penalty, the addition of Bale to the team will be incredibly beneficial.

Free agents to sign in the summer

Talking about free agents, there are many players in the market. Former Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose is one of the best players. He has valuable experience in providing defensive cover for the team. Likewise, Manchester United’s Phil Jones is a free agent and will hope to find a new club and reignite his career.

Therefore, the club has various players to look forward to and keep their form high for the next season. Until then, let’s hope Gareth Bale reverses his decision and plays for a Welsh club. Can it really happen?
