But, the national team is supporting Neymar through thick and thin. Recently, one of Brazil’s Real Madrid starlets expressed his displeasure with certain comments directed at his idol Neymar.

The Al Hilal star has been getting the blame every time Brazil performed poorly. It is now on him to make sure that he does not let the irrelevant comments affect him. He is also aware that Brazil is a soccer-mad nation. Therefore, not winning the World Cup for so many years is going to frustrate these fans.

Brazil was held to a 1-1 draw against Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers. But, the Al Hilal talisman is receiving some next-level trolling from the local media. The Brazilian media have made him the scapegoat of the poor performance. But the reality is that the whole Brazil national team had zero ambition to score the goal. Brazil’s Real Madrid player Rodrygo has now stepped in to support his idol and his national teammate Neymar.

Rodrygo, speaking on the Neymar situation, said, “They will always say bad things about him, but those who live with him know that he differs totally from the image that many have. Because I have him as an idol, I feel sad about certain comments.” Rodrygo has also given his comments on fans throwing popcorn at Neymar. He said,” It’s an isolated case, a fan who doesn’t represent the rest of the fans, the people. We received a lot of affection in Cuiabá, as well as Belém. I appreciate all the affection we had in Cuiabá”.
