The crowd interactions of Ryan Reynolds are something beautiful to watch. He has taken it personally to bring up Wrexham to the soccer world and is doing brilliantly. Continuously striving for improvement, Ryan and Rob McElhenney have effectively transformed the side from top to bottom.

And one example of interactions is how he communicates with former soccer players. Famous pundit Gary Lineker opened up on his thoughts of carrying a fascinating relationship with the owners. 

In an earlier conversation, Lineker explained the famous English phrase ‘squeaky bum time’ to him. The interaction happened during Wrexham’s Sheffield United FA Cup match, as the duo had a hilarious conversation. Hence, in a recent interview, Lineker explained the relationship they shared.

Former soccer legend discusses interesting relationship with Ryan Reynolds

In a recent interview, Lineker opened up on his relationship with owner Ryan Reynolds. According to OK!, he mentioned, “I met him at Wrexham. I interviewed him before a game recently and we’ve actually stayed in touch and we’ve been texting. I really like him and it’s an amazing story.” 

The soccer club had a challenging run of games in the final run-in but passed that test with flying colors. The game against Notts County proved to be the decider for the team to push for promotion. Ben Foster saved a last-minute penalty to help them land the title.

Lineker continued, “They’ve been lucky as well and the drama that’s happened to their team. You can see he’s generally into it. I was texting him the other day after their amazing game. You can see it’s got to him.” Hence, the season ended with them claiming 111 points.

Lineker spoke in awe of the person, and this is the second time he praised Reynolds and the club highly. However, the interview they had was filled with some fun moments where Reynolds even got to learn a new phrase from Lineker.

Wrexham owner gets a lesson in ‘squeaky bum time!’

The hilarious exchanges resulted in Reynolds explaining how ‘squeaky bum time’ became his favorite phrase. Reynolds jokingly said, “I thought it requires antibiotics.” Lineker then discussed how former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson coined the term. It is the time in a season when the club reaches its anti-climax. The interactions between the two icons were a treat for the eyes.

The upcoming season would be crucial for Wrexham in terms of staying up in the league. They have brought the fans together and look to carry on the same form to the next season. Wrexham is one of the best clubs in terms of fan following because of the Hollywood sprinkles on top.
