La Liga and UFC Enter Into a Historic Global Partnership to ‘Cross-Promote’ Soccer and MMA

While the FIFA World Cup is ready to move to the round of 16, big soccer news came from the USA where UFC and the European league La Liga announced a major partnership. This is not the first deal between the two organizations when they brought UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno and Spain-based rising star Ilia Topuria to the La Liga matches in Valencia and at Atletico Madrid. Fans are having hilarious reactions to the official announcement of the partnership.
The deal includes media team-up press events where players from both organizations will participate and promote each other. In the official statement, they stated that the partnership stems from the visit of Moreno and Topuria to La Liga.

After his visit, Moreno speaks to the press and said, “La Liga from Spain is crazy, man… It has a lot of history and a lot of soccer culture. It was awesome.” The La Liga North America content head in a statement said, “Hispanics make up a significant percentage of the population in the United States and are at the heart of both La Liga North America and the UFC’s fanbases.”

In their statement, they mentioned, “The new partnership will continue collaborations that will feature athletes of both sports… Laliga clubs to promote LaLiga, its teams, and players among UFC fans. In return, UFC will integrate La Liga into existing digital shows featuring LaLiga players and ambassadors..”

This deal is going to promote both of the sports beyond the limit of fan bases. They are very famous among their territories, but this deal will nullify the limits.
