Things surely aren’t going well for Neymar. The soccer veteran had to be substituted in the 44th minute against Uruguay after a sudden injury. The medical team had to bring the stretcher to take him off the pitch. It looked like a terrible knee injury for the Al-Hilal star. Awaiting the medical reports, the Brazilian soccer icon shared his first words after his horrible injury against Uruguay.

The results of the medical test are likely to come in the next 24 hours. Both Al Hilal and the Brazil team have important matches coming up. Therefore, a quick recovery period is what everyone will hope for.

Neymar shares his first words on social media after the unfortunate injury

Uruguay defeated Brazil 2-0 in the World Cup qualifier. This also meant that Brazil could only manage 1 point in the 2 matches this international break. Neymar had to sadly leave on a stretcher in the 44th minute after the injury to his left knee. He was also seen leaving after the game on crutches. Now, the Al Hilal star has shared his first words on social media after the loss and his tragic injury.

On social media Neymar wrote, “This was the verse I put before the match. In his heart, a man plans his way But the lord determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9. God knows everything. All honor and glory are always yours, my God, regardless of everything. I have faith”. Neymar will now surely hope that he does not require another operation on his body. Brazil has already struggled without Neymar on the pitch despite his recent poor performances. But, the biggest problem now arises for Al Hilal. This is because of their busy schedule. Al Hilal’s jam-packed schedule to look tougher in Neymar’s absence

Al Hilal has a very busy schedule in the next 9 days. The Saudi club will play 3 games in the next 9 days. The traveling and the tight schedule are likely to put pressure on the team. Al Hilal is currently at the top of the Saudi Pro League table. They are also on top of their group in the AFC Champions League. Undoubtedly, having someone like Neymar available would have given them a fair advantage over their opponents.

Neymar was in great form for Al Hilal before the international break. After getting fit from his injury at PSG, the Brazilian made a positive impact on the link-up play. He also scored his first goal for the club. Therefore, it is a big setback for Al Hilal’s medical team which worked hard on getting him fit for the season. They will now have to rework again on his recovery.
