Manchester City is coming off an emphatic 1-3 victory against Brentford. While the likes of Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, and Kevin De Bruyne failed to find the net, a solid hattrick from Phil Foden was enough to seal the deal. They remain unbeaten in the last 6 PL matches, with the last defeat coming against Aston Villa in December.

On the other hand, Everton is entering this week’s fixture on the back of a 4-goal thriller against Tottenham. The Toffees held Ange Postecoglou’s side at Goodison Park with a 2-2 score. A brace from their ex-star, Richarlison fell short in front of a Jack Harrison goal and Jarrod Branthwaite’s 90+2 minute equaliser to spoil the party for Spurs.

Cityzens vs Toffees: Injury update

Manchester City has no major injury concerns, as they are rejoicing after the return of Erling Haaland and KDB. However, Sean Dyche is currently grappling with a few absentees. The midfield duo of Andre Gomes and Amadou Onana are expected to miss the clash, with forward Arnaut Danjuma also being left out for the Manchester trip.

One take at a time

I first kicked a soccer ball when I was 12. My early exposure to playing the sport earned me many accolades at the zonal and district levels. I still remember my first goal, where I scored a 90+5 minute header like Sergio Ramos did in the 2014 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.
