The reports suggest that the 2024 edition of Copa America might take place in the USA and the fans of USMNT are excited. 

The decision can have a high impact on soccer fans in the United States. The popularity of soccer is on a steady incline after a better group stage run from the team. The USMNT won hearts after stopping England’s attack in a goalless draw and Beating Iran 1-0. The team’s midfield did wonders and USA qualified during the group stage, they only conceded one goal in three matches.

USA set to host Copa America

Despite losing in the round of 16, USMNT is getting popular and as a result, people are now interested in the game. This increment is about to be boosted, as according to reports , the USA will be hosting the 2024 edition of Copa America.

USMNT will also be participating in the event. The USA became the first non-south American country to host Copa America in 2016, and 2024 will be the 2nd time they are set to host the event.

USMNT lost its round of 16 match against the Netherlands and ended their FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign. The team lost 3-1; the team was looking good, but the Netherlands played exceptionally well and got the win.

The USA will also be hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2026 along with Canada and Mexico. The USA will be hosting the Copa America which will also possibly expand the fanbase for the world cup.
