It is no secret that Gerard Pique loves soccer. The Spanish defender, who has played for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, has now turned his attention to a new project: the Queens League. The Queens League is the women’s counterpart of the Kings League.
Kings League is a new unconventional form of soccer with unique rules and shorter matches. The competition has been running for almost two months and has been highly successful. With names like soccer legend, Ronaldinho being involved with the league.

After this success, Pique announced the inauguration of the Queens League. Just like the Kings League, the Queens League will follow the concept of soccer with entertainment. Here’s everything you need to know about this new League.

The Queens League is a women’s soccer league that is set to start on March 6. There are 12 teams in the competition in which two 7-A sides will battle it out for 40 minutes. Just like the Kings League, the rules will be different and many popular personalities are involved.

The Queens League is to officially start on March 6. The league will have a format similar to the men’s league, with matches every Saturday, for 11 days, and six consecutive matches in the afternoon on each date.
