TST is a 32-team 7v7 tournament that will run over four days. Wrexham Red Dragons confirmed the participation a few weeks back. They named their roster, and it soon caught the eyes of the fans with the likes of Mark Howard (current first-team goalkeeper) and David Jones (former Manchester United player) on the roster. However, Jones managed to convince another Premier League star George Boyd to join the roster.

Boyd and Jones played together at Burnley for two seasons. Boyd spoke with Mail Sport recently on how he decided to join Wrexham Red Dragons. He said“Dave brought it up, and I just jumped at the chance. It’s just really exciting to get a chance to to play football again.” Boyd was a significant acquisition for the Welsh side with his vast experience in the Premier League.
