Wrexham is in dire need of Mullins. The player is in non-contact training for now but will join the squad soon. The club is missing Mullin in the frontline for his skills as well as his game-reading qualities, something Wrexham needs to thank Fernando Torres for. In the talk show, Mullin says that he has always studied his game, and the former Spanish International was a Liverpool player he looked up to the most.

Mullin says, “Fernando Torres was the Liverpool play I looked up most to and I used to go to games every week and I’d spend time just watching him. I’d watch how he warmed up how he ran how he struck the ball how he passed it. I literally used to concentrate there.”

The ace striker raked in 38 goals and provided 3 assists in 46 games during Wrexham’s last season run at the National League. Wrexham was unlucky to lose Mullin’s in the pre-season, leaving him little chance to help his team during their initial run.

With the player back in training, Phil Parkinson’s side would have felt a wave of motivation coming their way as they look to face Tranmere Rovers next on the road. This would’ve come as a piece of good news for Phil Parkinson, who was left fuming due to a controversial decision taken by the officials during the Bradford match.

Controversies and transfer dilemma for Wrexham

A controversial decision in the early stages of the match left Phil Parkinson, visibly frustrated. Just two minutes into the game, the away side were awarded a penalty, ruling that Aaron Hayden had fouled Jamie Walker in the box. Tyler Smith converted the penalty, setting the tone for the match.
