The majority of fans around the world must have been aware until now of what Welcome to Wrexham is all about. While the documentary focuses on the club’s journey to achieving the historic promotion, it also showcases the other side of Wrexham. Be it the local townspeople or some special fans with their heartwarming stories, the club has documented several scenes in order to pay homage to certain off-field aspects associated with the club.
Interestingly, among all the commendations, they even managed to pay a special tribute to their National League rivals, Notts County. Well, this comes in the season finale of the show, i.e., “S2 E15 – Up the Town?.” While narrating, Reynolds concluded the episode by saying, “See You Next Season, Notts.” Apparently, this serves as his final message, a sign-off to fans, especially to their long-term arch-rivals, Notts County.
