Weeks ago, Shakira moved with her children and parents to the US. The Colombian’s move out of Spain was basically an attempt to move out of the limelight. However, she cannot avoid Gerard Pique completely. As per the separation agreement, the Spanish soccer legend can meet his kids for a stipulated time per month. And the interesting part about the deal is that the singer needs to pay half his traveling cost.

Despite all the compensations, Pique will reportedly still not fulfill his ’10-day’ period with his children in the US.

Why will Pique not spend ten days with his kids?

A few hours ago, Pique’s pictures emerged on social media through paparazzi accounts. The soccer veteran was at Miami airport. He had finally made the trip to America to meet his children. However, along with the relief of finally meeting his children, he needs to deal with another problem. In recent times, sources have suggested that Pique will not be spending the agreed 10 days with the kids.

He will reportedly stay in Miami only till May 1. As per the Mamarazzis podcast, Lorena Vazquez explained that the Colombian singer has played an important role in this surprise adjustment. She said, “Gerard Pique will finally not be able to spend those 10 days with his children, as stipulated in the agreement, because Shakira has made things difficult enough for him to do so”.

The reason behind this is that Gerard Pique was with the kids till April 2. The singer strongly claims that the soccer veteran has already spent two days with Milan and Sasha in April. Hence, he definitely cannot stay with them for ten days at a stretch.

A few days before Shakira moved out of Spain, Pique’s lawyer publicly spoke about their legal contract. As per La Vanguardia, Milan and Sasha will spend all three major academic breaks with their father, namely Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. For the rest of the time, he can spend ten days a month with his kids.

As a visiting parent, Pique will have a slight advantage as he will get to spend 70% of his kid’s summer vacation with them. It isn’t necessary for the soccer veteran to only keep them in America. He can surely take Milan and Sasha back to Spain too, but only for those ten days. All these clauses are only valid till Pique lives in Spain.

Should he relocate to the US, the former celebrity couple will need to find sign a new agreement. Other than that, the Colombian singer has only allowed the soccer veteran to meet his kids on one major condition.
