Footage from the Norway training camp two days ago caused a noticeable silence in the blue half of Manchester. Star striker Erling Haaland, while holding part of his leg, appeared to limp out of the training session. There were concerns about a possible injury relapse. With Norway having a game against the Czech Republic tomorrow, there was still no update on the towering striker.

However, in the latest presser, Haaland has given a timely update on his physical condition. Will he be available against the Czech Republic and Slovakia on the 26th? Let’s hear from the star himself.

Regarding his participation in tomorrow’s encounter, Erling Haaland said, “I feel good and am ready to play the match.” It was attested by his national team coach, Ståle Solbakken, as well. Well then, it seems like a quick recovery from injury for the Norwegian goal machine. Remarkably, the Manchester City #9 insists that he never had an injury in the first place.

He clarified, “I’m feeling fine. I didn’t walk off the training. I don’t know who wrote that. I trained a full training session.” Hence, it seems the previous footage and reports were just a case of physical stress. However, in Erling Haaland’s case, such news is indeed concern-worthy. This season, the 23-year-old has had his fair share of injury troubles and has missed 12 games already for the Premier League champions. His previous unavailability was the result of a stress reaction to the bone.

Leeds-born Erling Haaland Explains Ignoring England NT Before Norway Debut – “It Would Be Difficult”

Provided the Norwegian ace is in full fitness and features for Norway in the two games, it could be a tremendous boost to Pep Guardiola & Co. Following the international break, they will face off against the best side of the Premier League, Arsenal. The former Borussia Dortmund man is the perfect man to strike fear into the opponents. But regardless, Manchester City is sweating on the fitness of some of their crucial stars.

The news regarding Erling Haaland is certainly a positive for the Sky Blues. However, there are prominent question marks regarding the availability of two of their mainstays-Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson Moraes. The Brazilian was injured in the Liverpool match in his challenge with Darwin Nunez, which even resulted in a penalty! As per reports, Ederson has a thigh injury and will be available only after the international break.

Kevin De Bruyne’s case is certainly more positive. The Belgian wizard is out with a groin injury, and he even played at Anfield with ‘some problems’, per his manager. While Guardiola says that KDB is getting better, reports indicate that he could miss out against Mikel Arteta & Co. An enormous development in a potentially title-deciding match!
