The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United goes a very long way. The feud somehow develops among their fans as well. While the two Prem sides were fighting to get a win, fans were having their own kind of fight. This comes from the stands of Metlife Stadium, where the Gunners and the Red Devils fans had some sort of altercation.

Recently, a video was shared by a netizen showing that during the match, there was a violent altercation among fans. The exact cause of the fight remains uncertain, but it appeared to start with a group of supporters in the crowd pushing and shoving each other. The situation quickly escalated, and one individual involved began throwing punches.

As the fight unfolded, two security staff members climbed over the pitchside railings and headed toward the arguing fans. Before they could reach the scene, a couple of other spectators stepped in and successfully cool the tension.

The fan who initiated the fight by throwing the first punch, and was wearing a blue jersey, decided to back off and peacefully returned to his seat in a different row.

After this intervention, it seemed like the situation was resolved, and there were no further signs of trouble. Indeed, it was quite an incident that occurred. Both sides’ fans had their reasons to get angry as Manchester United defeated Arsenal 2-0. In fact, the fight not only took place among the fans but also between the players.

The tensions were not only high in the stands, but things sort of heated up on the pitch as well. Just before halftime, Lisandro Martinez delivered a late challenge to Bukayo Saka that caused a spat between the two stars. The defender made a lunge at the winger as they moved towards halftime. Eventually, both were separated from Gunners captain Martin Odegaard before other players also rushed to get involved.
