Saudi League has suddenly changed the dynamics of the transfer windows. They are willing to pay massive money to bring players to the Middle East. However, Real Madrid star Federico Valverde is more focused on his ambitions rather than focusing on the bags of cash. Ahead of the Spanish Super Cup semi-final in Saudi, he was asked about a potential move to Saudi Arabia. Rejecting the idea, he said, “I am very happy where I am. It is the best club in the world. Ten, 20, 30 million won’t change anything in my life. I’m happy. My family is happy in Madrid. That’s what counts.”

The loyalty shown by the 25-year-old proves Los Blancos remain one club with a tremendous reputation. The Uruguayan midfielder in Saudi Arabia will aim to win the Spanish Super Cup this year. Last year, they came here and lost the final convincingly against arch-rivals Barcelona. Hence, they will hope that this season, they can go one step further than last year.
