He said, “Benzema is staying with Al Ittihad, and sources close to the player confirm that the team will change many players.” revealing more about the club’s situation.

Karim Benzema has had good individual performances while contributing with 12 goals and 5 assists this season. But the team, on the other hand, is suffering at #7 on the points table. Why did Benzema show signs of leaving Al-Ittihad?

The French star, apart from the Instagram account deletion, showed other signs of displeasure too. Karim Benzema did not attend training sessions after the game against Al Nassr. The wider issue was that the player was not happy with the quality of the squad. According to reports, Benzema warned the club, by saying, “Either bring new players to the team or I will not return.”
