The soccer world is celebrating the fact that Lionel Messi is just one match away from his dream. After starting the FIFA World Cup with a defeat, Argentina read Spain’s 2010 World Cup script and followed it so far to the finals. In 2010, Spain wrote history and became the only team to win the title despite losing the first match. Argentina lost to Germany in the quarter-finals back then, but they are the first finalists of the 2022 World Cup.
Argentina won their semifinal clash against Croatia 3-0 courtesy of a penalty goal from Lionel Messi and two staggering goals from Julian Alvarez, one of which was set up through the sheer brilliance of the little magician from Rosario.

Fans are enjoying the win against Croatia in their way. Some are having parties, jumping and dancing, and announcing Argentina’s world champions on Twitter already. However, one video is going viral where the fan is celebrating the news in his unique way. An Argentina fan wore an Iron Man suit painted in the colors of the Argentina flag.

Apart from a goal, Messi looked like his young self when he ran half of the field, making the Croatian defense look like kids and grabbing an assist from a perfect pass which Alvarez converted into a goal. They are looking good, apart from the early setback they faced against Saudi Arabia. Now they are ready to face the winner of France vs Morocco.
Croatian fans are feeling sad about star player Luka Modric and the guy took the loss like a man and congratulated the winner. However, he criticized the referee of the match for the unfair penalty given to Argentina.
