The Al Nassr skipper, despite multiple opportunities, could not find the back of the net as Al Hilal defended the 2-goal lead they bagged in the first half. While the fans were left disappointed at the outcome, it seems CR7 wasn’t any different either. The skipper was fuming during the post-match presentation as he led his team to receive their runner-up medals.

CR7 also missed two vital opportunities during the game, including the chance to score an open goal. Despite that, it is important to note that the player made his return to the side after a long-term break because of his muscular injury. However, the same thing could not be said about the rest of his teammates, who looked like a shell of their former selves last night.
