After a dramatic final, the FIFA World Cup trophy has come home to Argentina! The country’s victorious national team landed back home on Tuesday in Buenos Aires. The roaring support of over 4 million fans that lined the streets greeted them. Fans went wild in an attempt to show their support.
The team triumphed in a titanic battle against France in the finals. They won on penalties after a 3-3 draw in overtime. Lionel Messi put in a virtuoso display to get his team across the line. Adorning fans greeted their returning heroes, and they planned a victory parade through the streets of Buenos Aires.

While this was a grand celebration and a historic moment for Argentina, it didn’t go as planned. Unfortunately, the celebration had to be cut short because of accidents during the bus parade.
Fans fall off an over-bridge on the bus
In a video that has surfaced online, we can see that two fans tried to jump from the over-bridge that was above the bus path. While one of them was able to make it onto the bus, the other one missed his jump and fell to the ground.
Due to an accidents like this, it was decided by security reasons, that team couldn’t do a full tour 🎥

Thankfully, in another video, it is visible that the person only sustained some injuries. It definitely was lucky for the person as things could have gone extremely bad. It is great to see the love and support from fans toward their team and country, however, sometimes it can go a little overboard.

Historic FIFA World Cup victory for Argentina
The win of Argentina over France was definitely a historic one. Argentina won the FIFA World Cup for the third time, and for the first time in almost 36 years. The wild celebrations and overflow of joy are evidence of how much the victory meant to the Albicelestes fans.
The bus parade was a sight to behold, with fans lining the streets and cheering their heroes on. The support shown by the fans was incredible, and it showed just how much this victory meant to them. In spite of some hiccups and accidents, it is still a day that no Argentinian will ever forget. This was a historic victory and one that everyone will remember for many years to come.
