The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching a dramatic conclusion, and the dream is over for 28 out of 32 teams that participated. It has already witnessed the collapse of favorites like Spain, Portugal, and Brazil and broken the hearts of many fans of individual players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Luka Modric. All these players have fan bases that are hard to even comprehend. While the remaining four teams battle for the title, other teams are now on break, and players will soon join their soccer clubs and prepare for the ongoing season. We still don’t have any official announcement about who Ronaldo will be playing for, and speculations are reaching a crescendo.
Ronaldo is currently a free agent seeking a club and a contract. There is an offer on the table from the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The specifics of the offer are not yet clear, but there are reports that suggest an offer in the region of a staggering $213 million per season.

Almost €200m per season until 2025.
But… big part is sponsor deals, so it’s not clear yet if image rights can be agreed.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo a good option for Chelsea?
Chelsea is not having a great season. Currently, they are standing at 8th in the Champions League and their forward Armando Broja recently got injured and is out for the entire season. Chelsea is working its way toward a deal with French forward Christopher Nkunku, but that deal will be finalized in the summer of 2023.
With Armando Broja out for the season & Nkunku coming in the summer of 2023, we need a striker for 6 months, someone that’s eligible to play in the Champions League. We are sitting 8th in the league, what harm will it do if we get Cristiano Ronaldo on loan? Agree or disagree? pic.twitter.com/mQzqqyNaBX

No serious competetive club should sign Ronaldo, whether he scores or doesn't he'll remain a legend of the game.Ronaldos time is gone, he has now resolved to drama on and off the pitch to maintain his following, let him just go to Saudi. Chelsea should just poach from Brentford

And if we do get Ronaldo, who would be providing those assist for him to score? This goes to show our problem is not a striker but a midfield issue…..

If Chelsea have a creative midfield then CR7 will enjoy chances if he comes but Chelsea doesn't have that until then this plan will fail

The latest developments in Chelsea’s case
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has said that the club doesn’t want to fast-track the Nkunku deal. According to Romano, the club is eyeing another forward player, although he didn’t provide any names.

It would make sense for them to look for a new striker as the team has only scored 17 goals this season. The team has a lower goal count than Leicester City and Leeds United.
Talking on this, Romano said, “Christopher Nkunku is expected to join in the summer so they will look at other players. Now it’s still early to say who are the serious candidates. Chelsea will explore many options, but the idea is to sign a new striker in January to replace Broja.”
