Fans were aghast after hearing about the famous couple’s breakup. The news later surfaced that the breakup was a result of Pique’s infidelity. Here’s how the iconic couple divided their joint assets:

After the messy breakup in 2022, Pique moved out of his own home and found a new space to live in. The Barcelona soccer veteran is currently enjoying life after retiring from soccer. However, the celebrity couple still possesses a few assets together. One benefit of the relationship was that Shakira and Pique weren’t married. That made it easier for the court to decide on the monetary divide, if any.

Their lawyers initially hinted that only dividing or sharing the joint assets and properties might be a problem. However, Marca claims that the celebrity couple didn’t take too long to reach an agreement on the same. There were mainly two properties in doubt. In 2012, the celebrity duo purchased a property in Esplugues de Llobregat for about €4.5 million.

Shakira gets custody of their kids!

When the celebrity couple broke up, they mentioned that their kids were the first priority. However, one of them needed to get legal custody of the kids. Before Shakira gained legal custody, she took the temporary responsibility of looking after them. Shakira and Pique were scheduled to have a hearing regarding the same last December. About three weeks ago, the Latin American artist released a diss track that shook the music industry. Since then, the fans have not let go of any opportunity to humiliate Pique in public. The Spanish soccer star will be looking to move on from the saga as soon as possible and start his life with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
