And also in the situation the club is in, we cannot think of signings of this caliber.”

The statement indicates Barcelona is still working on balancing their checkbooks. As far as their striker situation is concerned, they already have a long-term replacement ready. Their 18-year-old striker, Vitor Roque, has started training with the club. As agreed, he completed a $44 million move from Atlético Paranaense on the first day of the January transfer window.
