In his recent press conference, the Dutchman touched down on the ban on media outlets. Notably, Erik Ten Hag claimed that media outlets should consult the club before publishing anything. He also added that the news around the dressing room was untrue.

Ten Hag stated, “They should have come to us first and not go behind our back printing articles. That is not the right thing. We have a good relationship. They come to us beforehand. We have a debate about it.”

Ten Hag’s comments come after Manchester United blocked MEN from attending their latest press conference. The media outlet, in one of their pieces, claimed the manager had lost the support of over 50% of the locker room.

Earlier in the day, the media outlet Manchester Evening News’ chief Writer Samuel Luckhurst informed the public about the club’s decision to ban them from the latest press conference. Luckhurst stated that the outlet received a message from United’s communication director, Andrew Ward, who informed them about the club’s decision.

MEN chief Writer Samuel Luckhurst took to Twitter to comment on Manchester United’s decision to ban the media outlet from attending Erik Ten Hag’s press conference before the Chelsea game. Luckhurst wrote, “The MEN and other outlets have been banned from Ten Hag’s press conference today by #mufc comms director Andrew Ward.”
