Jude Bellingham has taken the Spanish capital by storm. The Englishman, following his move to the club, has emerged as a favorite amongst the fans, winning their hearts with memorable performances. Well, it seems like the fans are not the only ones in awe of the young superstar. Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane expressed his feelings about the Los Blancos star, expressing his delight in watching the player take to the field. While impressing Zizou is a big deal, it doesn’t come without its fair share of expectations!

Since joining the club last summer, Bellingham has been on fire for Real Madrid. The midfielder has taken to Madrid like a duck to water, settling perfectly into Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The English star has been impressive in front of the goal, emerging as the team’s top scorer. While fans will be eager to see him in action as Madrid takes on RB Leipzig later tonight, it seems like they might have to wait for an extended duration with the player currently out with an ankle injury. Keep an eye on him as they have a player who can match Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence with Real Madrid!

In an interview with the Spanish media outlet AS, Zidane lauded Bellingham for his performances before putting out his expectations for the player. “I’m a big Jude Bellingham fan. He’s incredible, doing amazing things. Now we want him to win trophies with Real Madrid, that’s my wish,” he stated.

Jude’s currently out with an ankle injury, with the player forced off the field during the clash against Girona. According to reports, the player is expected to be out of action for the next four games. It could be a tremendous blow to the Merengues, with the player playing an extensive role in their success so far this season.

The former Dortmund star has led the charge from the front for Madrid this season. Bellingham has already accumulated 28 goal contributions to his name in his 29 outings and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. The numbers are a testament to his importance to the side. So much so that it’s becoming hard to imagine a Real Madrid side without Jude Bellingham in the middle!

If Zidane’s expectations were not pressure-building, Bellingham might also have to keep his manager’s high hopes in mind during the upcoming fixtures. Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti lavished praise on the player during his press conference following the team’s win over Girona, claiming the English star reminds him of Zidane. Talk about a massive statement!

Well, it’s understandable. After all, Bellingham has emerged as the perfect heir to Zidane with his cold-as-ice performances. The English starlet has delivered one game after another, taking fans down memory lane. Finally, Madrid has someone, after a long wait of eighteen years, who’s got the same nerves of steel as Zidane himself.

You don’t have to take anyone’s words to believe it. Just watch the young lad in action. He’s got the same aura as he strides confidently, donning the iconic jersey number 5 once worn by Zidane himself. While one would say Jude Bellingham has what it takes to reach the top and grab the glass ceiling, I’d say he’s got all the qualities to shatter the glass ceiling and find his own peak!
