The United States forward might be retiring soon, but nothing can stop her from breaking records. At the 61st minute of the match, Carli scored her fifth goal. Notably, in the first half of the match itself, she scored an astonishing four times.
Lloyd’s hattrick was record breaking as she became the USWNT player with the most hattricks ever. The American legend also tied the record for the highest goals scored in a single match by an individual by netting 5 times. She’s also the third highest scorer in the USWNT’s all-time list.
