Liverpool FC is one of the biggest clubs in the world and they established that once again with their exciting win over Chelsea in the final of the Carabao Cup. However, there was some terrible news for the club before the start of the match related to Thiago Alcantara.

The Spanish midfielder was left in tears after sustaining another injury during the warm-up for the match. Thiago Alcantara and his injury troubles this season

Thiago has been impressive with his performances for the club every single time he has played, but he has only been able to play 20 times for the club this season. He suffered a calf injury that ruled him out for two months, and shortly after that got diagnosed with COVID-19.

As if that wasn’t unfortunate enough, he suffered another hip injury before finally returning to play in February. This injury is the fourth injury that he has suffered this season, and it’s yet to be seen how long the midfielder will be kept off the pitch this time around.
