“You’re the Main Reason I Love NFL”: Harry Kane and Tom Brady Exchange Emotional Messages on Retirement

The entire world of sport came together recently to congratulate one of the biggest legends of the game, Tom Brady. The American NFL star retired from the sport after spending 22 seasons in the league, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star has a lot of fans.

Brady is also an avid fan of soccer, and the American star has shown a taste for the MLS often. Several footballers were also among those who congratulated the quarter-back, with players like Thibaut Courtois posting stories for him. Brazilian legend Pele also got in on the action and uploaded a post to his Instagram account for his friend.

Spurs striker Harry Kane posts a story for Brady

Tottenham Hotspur striker and England captain, Harry Kane, posted a story on his Instagram account to celebrate Brady’s career. He commended the NFL superstar on his passion and commitment and revealed that he started following the NFL because of Brady and his heroics.

Congratulations on an incredible career Tom Brady. Your drive, passion and commitment are inspiring. You’re the main reason why I started following the sport and love the NFL. Thank you,” Kane wrote, adding a GOAT emoji and a crown at the end.

Tom Brady replied to the story and thanked Kane for his kind words, calling him one of the many amazing young stars in the world. “Thanks, Harry Kane, one of the many amazing young stars in the world,” Brady replied.

Tom Brady and his glittering career in the NFL

Brady made his NFL debut in 2000 with the New England Patriots. He finally left the team in 2019 with six Superbowl wins to his name. There were rumors that Brady was going to retire after that, but the superstar joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers instead.

He won another Superbowl with the Buccs, making it his seventh win, and finally retired after Tampa Bay’s season ended in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, losing to Los Angeles Rams via a last-second field goal. We wish the GOAT a happy retirement.
