Metz manager offers advice to Kylian Mbappe

French League side Metz met Paris Saint Germain in this weekend’s clash, as the Les Grenats lost to a last-minute goal by Achraf Hakimi. FC Metz is yet to taste victory this season and currently lies at the bottom of the table. However, as if PSG’s last-minute winner didn’t do enough damage, Mbappe’s unsportsmanlike conduct further added to their anguish, frustrating already triggered players and fans.

After PSG cruised to glory within the final minutes of the game, Mbappe taunted the Metz goalkeeper during his team’s celebrations. Metz’s boss, Frederic Antonetti, offered some advice to Mbappe, as his behavior caused an unnecessary brawl during the match.

“Kylian Mbappe needs to behave better if he wants to be loved. I love this player, he is very, very strong, but he’d benefit from having a more humble side,” said Antonetti.

Despite being a sensational player, there are doubts regarding his temper and conduct on the field. Clearly, Pochettino needs to sharpen his man-management skills, given his star-studded squad’s infamous behavior.

The PSG team has always lacked the discipline to compete well on all fronts. Many people have even questioned Neymar’s influence on the young talent.
