Epic Games most recently released the 16.10 update for Fortnite. Over the four years since the game’s release, there has been a plethora of such updates, each bringing some sort of changes in the meta or the island.
Just like any other multiplayer game, Fortnite’s user-base comprises casual players, content creators, and pro players. With every new season, the developers have to fulfill the contrasting demands of these factions of gamers.
Chapter 2 Season 6 of Fortnite is no exception. While casual players are loving the primal theme on the island and the weapon-crafting mechanics, pro players have heavily criticized Epic Games for ruining the meta with the Primal Shotgun and Cuddle Fishes.

For instance, the newly introduced raptors on the island are arguably one of the biggest changes ever brought in Fortnite. Many players looked excited to tame them on day one, but forgot about the pre-historic beasts sooner than ever. As per SypherPK, fans would have entered a state of frenzy if raptors would have been introduced a few years back.

Epic Games can significantly improve the taming of animals in Chapter 2 Season 6
Animals like boars, wolves, raptors, and chickens are spread across the Fortnite map at the moment. Upon taming, they follow the players and even attack their opponents.
SypherPK believes that there’s scope for a lot of improvement regarding animal taming in Fortnite. The process currently has bugs where the tamed animals destroy builds and deal minimal damage to the enemies. The streamer is looking forward to an update that improves the utility of these pre-historic beasts and makes them more dangerous.

It is evident that new players who’ve started playing Fortnite recently still love the regular updates. On the flip side, old players have been witnessing this for almost four years, and are struggling to maintain the same enthusiasm now.
