Eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi made a visit to Late Show with David Letterman in the year 2009. That year his autobiography Open was released, and he was present on the show for the promotion of his book.
American legend Agassi talked about his book and candidly shared using the drug crystal meth in the year 1997. He also shared about the humorous incident of using mullet wig. A night before the French Open finals, he used the wrong conditioner for the wig, and during the finals, it began to disintegrate.
“I asked my brother, will it (wig) stay?” Andre said. Then his brother replied, “It will. Just try not to move around.”

“I think it will stay on—just don’t move. It’s tennis, try not to move around. They’ll hit it right to you,” Letterman said. Later, Andre asked, “What better way to hide your inner self than to wear a mullet?”
Former World Number one Andre Agassi continued the conversation from the times he hated playing tennis. He was forced to take up the sport due to his father’s compulsion.

Andre Agassi spoke about his wife and kids
Andre also shared about his relationship with legendary tennis player and his wife Steffi Graf. “The aura of this woman, she’s so perfectly constructed as an athlete,” Letterman said. Agassi interrupted and said, “Watch out, you’re getting pretty close, Dave.”
Letterman continued, “I’ve never seen a woman with this aura in my life … and I thought this was a wonderful experience for me.” He talked about his kids playing baseball and tennis. “My son plays baseball, and my daughter, she plays tennis three days a week. And I hold my breath, that doesn’t continue too much more,” he said.
