Serena Williams played some incredible tennis in her second-round match, demolishing her opponent 6-2 6-4 but sadly, there were no spectators to appreciate her stunning performance.
This is why, in the post-match interview, Serena was asked about her thoughts on the fan-less policy. She replied by saying,
“I love the crowd here obviously. But, it’s something cool, I have been playing so long, I now play in the modern era where there’s no crowd, it’s all digital. But, it’s something kind of calming about it, it’s just a little more calming I think.”

Serena Williams going for No. 24
A calm atmosphere is something that Serena Williams can use, especially since she is going for one of the biggest records in tennis – the most number of Grand Slams.
The record is currently held by Margaret Court with 24, and the American star can equal it by winning one more Slam. However, that one Major has eluded her over the years.
