Among these deals, the $1 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a deal-breaker that players can’t wait to avail. The stunning deal not only lets you upgrade your existing PC Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold subscription for a notoriously discounted price, but also lets new users try out the Pas for one month. Pretty cool, right? But it doesn’t end just there: any remaining time left on the existing Game Pass may also be extended over to the Game Pass Ultimate. This allows you to get access to even more titles! The deal is once again back for fans to make use of but with a slight catch.

The deal was discounted for a while, but a triumphant return is on the books. However, a recent price hike to the $1 deal has changed the scenario somewhat. The hike will not affect existing Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, but new players are at the receiving end of a slightly less mesmerizing offer. The deal will no longer be available at a 1:1 conversion rate. Instead, a new rate of 3:2 has been announced by Microsoft. If you have 90 days’ worth of Xbox Live Gold or PC Game Pass time left, upgrading to the Game Pass Ultimate will allow you only 60 days with the new subscription.

The 1:1 conversion rate came with an array of advantages that players would kill for. With the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate being a little on the pricey side, stacking up on the Xbox Live Gold subscription can be of immense benefit. Having years’ worth of time on a lower Game Pass and then spending just $1 to convert it into the Game Pass Ultimate just can’t be something you can ignore as a gamer.
