The league, even though it has not had its first event, has already faced a lot of backlash. So much so that the UFC president retaliated by claiming that the sport is safer than boxing.

They have backed Dana White by taking on the mantle of the regulatory body of the league.

Sean O’Malley won’t watch ‘Super Slap League’ by Dana White
Sugar currently sits as the No.1 title contender for the UFC bantamweight title after defeating former UFC bantamweight champion Peter Yan. Although it was a controversial decision in the eyes of many, Sean did win the fight fair and square. Sugar runs a YouTube channel where he releases videos of him having a conversation with his coach Tim Welch.

He said, “Getting the same hate from new people when he was first starting to promote UFC. Like this is barbaric, this is fu*ked up, why would people do this?”
