The Nike Prefontaine Classic has kicked off with top athletes from all over the world participating in the competitions. One of the most anticipated appearances is that of Sha’Carri Richardson. After her Tokyo Olympics ban, Richardson is back in contention for the women’s 100-meter race in Oregon, the track she won during the US trials. The sprinter failed a doping test due to traces of Marijuana but the American is back. And by the looks of it, back with a bang.

During the press conference of the Nike Prefontaine Classic before the 100-meter race, Richardson entered the media room in style, looking extremely confident in front of the media.

The sheer talent on display at the Nike Prefontaine Classic is incredible. The Olympic gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah will look to continue her dominance in the events in Oregon. She took home the gold medal in Tokyo with a time of 10.61 and created a new Olympic record.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is also expected to take part in the race and looks to carry on her legacy. Olympic bronze medalist Shericka Jackson is also amongst the favorites. But the eyes of the world will be on Richardson. The American sprinter has so much hype around her right now as she has taken her expectations and pressure on herself to another level.
