Tamyra Mensah-Stock is an inspiration
After winning the gold medal in Tokyo, a San-Antonio-based business venture took up the opportunity to provide a food truck for her Tamyra’s mother, Shonda Wells. Cruising Kitchens is a company that is going to build a food truck worth $250,000 that would probably become one of the best restaurants in the USA.
After working as a certified nursing assistant, Wells has come of age to follow her passion, that is, cooking. The past seven and a half years were not easy. Working in a pit, she was famous for selling some of the best barbeques in town. But she always dreamt of owning her own food-truck.

“To see my mom be able to carry out her dream is something I’ve been striving for in wrestling. It’s not my end-all-be-all goal because I’m trying to create that platform so I can give glory to God and tell people the message I want to give them. But at the same time, I want to help my mom meet her dreams and it’s so freaking incredible.”
“She is getting hooked up with a truck that I could not even have dreamed of. I can barely fathom it. It’s a $250,000 food truck. Like, what can you do with that? I don’t even understand,” said Mensah-Stock.
