After an incredible career spanning two decades, Carli Lloyd will retire from soccer. The 39-year-old phenomenon will look back at some fine performances and memories which made her a living legend. Lloyd will now look forward to the final matches of her distinguished career. The USWNT announced the dates for her last matches.

USWNT announces dates of last matches for Carli Lloyd
The golden generation of USWNT has won the lot. The two-time World Cup winner and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Lloyd, had to settle for a bronze in the Tokyo Olympics. She scored a brace against Australia in the Bronze medal match.
Lloyd will now play her last international matches for her country. The USWNT will play two matches in September against Paraguay and two matches in October against Korea. This marks the last time that Lloyd will enter the field.

When are the matches?
The first match will be against Paraguay in a two-game thriller in September. The match will be on Sept. 16 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Likewise, the second game against Paraguay takes place on September 21st in the recently opened TQL stadium of FC Cincinnati. After that, the US will compete against Korea on October 21 and October 26.

The players are expected to wear a special jersey to honor Lloyd for her invaluable service to her nation. With 312 games, she is the second most capped player in the history of US women’s soccer. Quite an incredible achievement from a special player. Moreover, she needs 130 goals to tie up with Kristine Lilly for becoming the third-highest scorer in US soccer history.

The importance of Lloyd cannot be underestimated for this team. She, along with Megan Rapinoe and many other players have played a huge part in bringing the USWNT team to prominence.
