Michael Phelps and Naomi Osaka are some athletes who have supported her decision to not take part in the events. The expectations of athletes are huge while representing their nation in the Olympics. “I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you,” said Swift.

The singer clearly admired her performances throughout the years and showed her support towards the gymnast. The emotional intelligence quotient for people is really important for the well-being of a person. However, if an athlete is not well, he or she should not perform, and cause risk to her life.
