The wrestler was in fine form during the Olympics. After defeating the Rio 2016 champion Taha Akgul, Steveson dominated his route to the finals by not giving up a point. But the final proved to be a sterner test for the wrestler despite the domination leading up to the finals.

But the ability to play in NFL looks promising for the wrestler. Joining Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins will boost the team’s chances to contend for the playoffs. Despite the offer from Vikings, the American wrestler may hope to win it again at Paris Olympics in 2024. The decision is his and it would be good for the NFL to have a gold medallist play football.
