Former UFC interim Lightweight champion Tony Ferguson speaks out for the first time after his Nate Diaz humbling. ‘El Cucuy‘ has always been a big name in the MMA community and the UFC. However, his recent results have not been great. He is on a five-fight losing streak. However, the UFC recently gave him a chance to redeem himself. Although it’s not what Ferguson wants. Moreover, Ferguson isn’t happy about being left out of the TUF season 31.

‘El Cucuy’ made his mark on The Ultimate Fighter with the help of Brock Lesnar as an exciting prospect. He went on to impress with 15 wins and one loss in his first 16 UFC fights. But, it went downhill after that. He’s fought top fighters such as Oliveira, Poirier, and Dariush, but never McGregor. Ferguson expresses disappointment about not getting the chance to fight him.

With his reputation as a top fighter, he wants to prove himself and bounce back. Ferguson’s not just upset about missing the chance to redeem himself, he’s also unhappy about being left out of TUF season 31.

Tony Ferguson expresses his disappointment

Dana White made a big announcement on social media: Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon and TUF season 31. Running from May 30th to August 15th, it will feature Team McGregor vs Team Chandler. But Tony Ferguson wasn’t happy about the Chandler appointment as coach against McGregor.

Tony Ferguson responded to Dana’s post with a comment, “Ahhhh @danawhite A Little D.W.P W/ ChandlerBing You Don’t Call, You Don’t Write, No worries We’ll see you soon Buddy *mack“. The comment reflects his disappointment about not being a part of the TUF season 31 and his eagerness to face McGregor in the octagon.

Ferguson is confident in his abilities and sees himself as a true champion in the sport, a title he believes will never be taken away from him.

He said, “McNuggets – he lost his sauce. GOATS [Greatest of all time] come and go but BOATS staying floating – I’m a BOAT – I’m the best of all time.

That’s a title that’s not gonna go anywhere, I’m always gonna be the f****** champ. No one’s going to do what I’ve done for this sport” He further added.
