Ubisoft Reveals Upcoming Plans for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint

The 2019 tactical shooter from the house of Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, will be getting new free content throughout this year, as has been confirmed by the company recently. Earlier yesterday, Ubisoft announced that the latest title in the Ghost Recon series will be getting two major updates for free this year. In addition to these two updates, the title will also be hosting a Tomb Raider event.
The official Twitter handle of the game announced this yesterday. There will be two Title Updates for the game this year. The first one is about to release towards the end of spring, while the other one is set to release around fall. As for the Tomb Raiders event, Ubisoft has not yet disclosed anything other than its upcoming existence.

For those who do not know, Breakpoint takes players to the fictional island chain in the Pacific Ocean called Auroa. Players play as Lieutenant Colonel Anthony “Nomad” Perryman, whose job is to investigate a series of disturbances involving Skell Technology, a military contractor based on Auroa. Although the title has a promising premise, it failed to leave a mark with its release.

The first title update, the 4.0.0, is all set to release towards the end of spring this year. This one will be introducing something called the ‘Teammate Experience’. According to the official Ubisoft website,
“This title update will focus on the AI teammates. We knew that adding them to the game was only the first step, and we are happy to announce that their capabilities will be further improved based on your feedback.

Furthermore, you will be able to discover a new XP progression for your AI squad. Using these, you can unlock new passive skills and abilities. Players will also have a dedicated quest log to experiment with the new AI squad features.
As for the other update, the 4.1.0, there is not much information available at the time. According to the official announcement, Ubisoft will reveal further details about it later this year. All we know is, this update is tentatively set to release in fall this year.
