‘Lioness’ said, “we will win this fight, no doubt in my mind. I will follow my path making history. No doubt in my mind, this is gonna happen, be ready for it.”

The top-ranked female pound-for-pound fighter can become the first UFC fighter to defend belts in multiple divisions without relinquishing the other division title. She seems prepared for ‘Feenom’ and revealed that she has broken down the Canadian’s style.
“I have a breakdown on her especially with her fight against Cris, that was good view from her game. I know she’s gonna try to clinch to put me against the cage. But I’m ready, I gave a good strategy for her. I’m gonna be ready for everything she brings Saturday.”
However, Nunes remained coy on her gameplan as she predicted a tough battle.
“5 rounds I expect this fight is gonna be a battle. Felicia is a tough opponent, expect to be very sharp, very smart, and then wait to the best moment to finish this fight.”

Nunes last tasted defeat against Cat Zingano at UFC 178 in 2014. Since then, she is on a 10 fight win streak beating names such as Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg once, and Valentina Shevchenko on two occasions at UFC 196 and UFC 215.
She beat Cyborg in December 2018 to claim the title. However, she spent 2019 focusing on Bantamweight with 2 title defenses at 135.
