UFC bantamweights: Cory Sandhagen vs Frankie Edgar
‘The Sandman’ bounced back to winning ways after suffering a disappointing first-round loss to Sterling in a title eliminator. He was on the verge of actualizing his shot at gold, but seemingly choked right when it mattered. Regardless, Sandhagen stayed the course and earned a statement head-kick finish over Marlon Moraes.
Cory Sandhagen uses range like a maestro and has considerable power when he comes in with favorable angles. Moreover, he’s hard to hit and remains mobile, even as if his opponent puts forth considerable pressure. Frankie Edgar’s bullish offensive tactics might be an issue when the fight kicks off and the takedowns must be neutralized.

Can ‘The Answer’ make another run
Frankie Edgar has built his career and brand off a successful run at both lightweight and featherweight. However, after having his title aspirations dashed with multiple losses at featherweight, the move-down was imminent. ‘The Answer’ made his intentions dangerously clear with his performance against Pedro Munhoz.
The 24-8-1 veteran has a frame better suited for 135-pounds, and his power is still carried down despite the weight cut. Chiefly, the speed advantage he used to bring into fights is more or less on par with all other contenders. Sandhagen’s height and reach can potentially cause plenty of problems in the late rounds, especially given the way in which the ‘Sandman’ fights.
