D-Day is fast approaching for the grudge fight between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul. After captivating the fans with his heart and ability to take blows to the chin for almost 15 years, the Stockton Slapper will make his boxing debut this Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. A lot has been speculated about the outcome, but more has been argued about Diaz’s boxing skills. However, no one attracted as much traction with his comments as Esquiva Falcao did. The Olympic medalist has again taken a swing at the former MMA fighter. Has Diaz finally left a good impression on the boxer?

Notably, the 38-year-old MMA fighter employed the services of some eminent boxers to sharpen his boxing skills. Falcao belonged to the same crop that helped him test his boxing skills. But the Brazilian fighter was not impressed with what he saw in the sparring sessions. “It looked like he was dying,” he declared after the session. A month has passed since those remarks, and it appears the famed boxer has again addressed the glaring flaws in Diaz’s boxing game.

Falcao said, “Nate Diaz has bad boxing. Boxing is not for him. I praise him because he’s a warrior, a good fighter, a jiu-jitsu guy with a big name, but he’s not good in boxing.”

Further, the 30-1 record holder reiterated that Diaz’s boxing was “bad”. He then also predicted how the former UFC associate would perform if he were to enter a boxing tournament.

He stated, “I can’t lie. I can’t say his boxing is good, that he will become a world champion if he gives it a try. His boxing is bad. If he enters a boxing tournament, he’ll lose, depending on the opponent he faces. But he has heart, he likes to brawl. But technique-wise, he’s bad.”
