It took Elon Musk one decision to send shockwaves throughout the MMA world. The Tesla CEO didn’t hesitate to cut off Dana White, who helped mediate the negotiations with Mark Zuckerberg. While the UFC President soaks in misery, Conor McGregor is “happy” UFC is not handling the fight. Musk has pissed off two greats of the UFC and, as a result, has earned praise from Jake Paul.

The X owner assumed control of the proceedings as the negotiations with the Meta CEO reached a critical point. After ironing out a few key details, he trashed the UFC lynchpin’s efforts as the latter worked tirelessly throughout the summer behind the scenes. This afforded an opportunity for ‘The Problem Child’ to take a jibe at White and also advance the fighters’ pay issue.

The 26-year-old boxer turned to his X handle and blasted the profit-mongering UFC head honcho. The famed YouTuber took a dig at him for selling merchandise for the fight, even before the two tech giants penned down a deal to fight. Meanwhile, he lauded Musk for giving away all the revenue to charity.

In addition, the younger of the Paul brothers pleaded with the business mogul to set up a pension plan for MMA fighters, also extended his aid to help with the cause.

He wrote, “Elon Musk is the real boss of bosses. Meanwhile Dana White selling Musk Zuck t-shirts. This is how you do it. All to charity. Would be amazing to use some of the proceeds to setup a pension plan for fighters.”

Notably, Paul has been a vocal supporter of the fighters’ wage issue and, on multiple occasions, has criticized White for not paying his fighters enough. While White certainly wanted a piece of the superfight, the recent announcement from Musk snatched the ground from his feet.

The recent announcement by the American entrepreneur mentioned that the fight will be managed by him and the Facebook CEO’s foundations. Furthermore, he revealed the fight will be live-streamed on X and Meta.

Disclosing his recent talks with the Italian PM and Minister of Culture, he mentioned they have agreed on an “epic location”. White had recently admitted the fight between Musk and Zuckerberg would rack up a guaranteed billion. But with the UFC sidelined, the amount of charity will be enormous, and hence Paul tries to squeeze in a few bucks for the fighters’ cause.
